Jewar Airport (Noida International Airport)
Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is now operational and is emerging as a major aviation gateway for Delhi-NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh. Commercial passenger operations began in June 2026, strengthening connectivity across the Yamuna Expressway region. Spread across approximately 3,296 acres, the airport is planned to become Asia's largest and the world's fourth-largest airport once fully developed. Its strategic location provides convenient access to Noida, Greater Noida, Jewar, Agra, Mathura and other important destinations.
The airport is being developed as a comprehensive aviation hub with passenger, cargo, logistics and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facilities. Its 40-acre MRO facility is intended to strengthen aircraft maintenance capabilities and support India's growing aviation industry. The airport's cargo hub is designed to handle over 2.5 lakh metric tonnes annually, with planned expansion to around 18 lakh metric tonnes.
